Highlights include
- Celebrate with the Friends! Participate in our Adopted Dog Birthday Paw-ty or visit with a new four-legged friend. Get information about other Friends' activities, find out how to volunteer, and take your chances in the Mutt Strut raffle.
- A demonstration by former Detroit Tigers pitcher Milt Wilcox and his Ultimate Air Dogs. Not only is it exciting to watch these ultimate dog athletes but you will have the opportunity to see if your pooch is an ultimate jumper.
- Stop by the Doggie Health Zone, including a Microchip Clinic so that if your friend ever does stray we can help him find you again and Mini Health Screenings to ensure that your pup is in tip-top shape.
- Bowser’s Bistro will feature food vendors from local restaurants to tempt your taste buds.
- Think your dog has the most spots, longest ears, or best howl? Think your dog performs the best trick? If so, visit the Doggie Fun Zone for games and contests.
- Stop and shop at booths along the Mutt Midway featuring pet-themed merchandise and services. For example, remember your paw-tastic day by having a Caricature drawn or a Pet Photo snapped; ask our pet psychic to delve into your dog’s innermost secrets; or pamper your pooch with a doggie massage or manicure.
- Many businesses along the walk route will be going to the dogs for the day. Visit all the dog friendly businesses.
