This is Margarita. She is one of the 105 Chihuahuas rescued by FFDAS in July 2009 from a horrific hoarding situation. We were able to save all of the great little dogs because of the generosity of our friends and community. They have changed the lives of many of us that have had the opportunity to take them into our hearts and homes.I think in many ways, they rescued us. Margarita is a true delight and has brought lots of fun and laughter into our home. I hope her story and and funny little face will inspire you to help the many more homeless animals waiting for their forever home at the Dearborn Animal Shelter.

Roxie in the land of ballons. She was adopted from DAS by my sister, Janet, and was her constant companion during Janet's brave but unsuccessful battle with cancer. Roxie came to live with the rest of our gang.



Another DAS adoptee- Grunt. Yes, she can be a little piggy but more often... quite the clown.
